Spring Still Unsprung

Despite the warmer weather making it feel like Spring on the Reservoirs on Sunday, migrants were distinctly thin on the ground. 35 Redwing, 2 Meadow Pipits and a Buzzard over the East Warwick were the only real signs of movement, although Pete L. reported 2 Skylarks when we bumped into him.

Aside from that, there were 2 x 2w Yellow Legged Gulls on the Lockwood; a single Snipe and Kingfisher on the High Maynard. Meanwhile, there were 7-8 Siskins in alders alongside the East Warwick and a Peregrine perched on a nearby pylon...

Anyway, here's a few photos from the weekend....

Hopefully the migrants will start moving though in the next week or so...
