Alba or Yarrellii at the beginning of Febuary

I came across this wagtail earlier, in the riding stable paddocks. I couldn't make a definite decision in the field so took these terrible pictures to see what others could add, There's good arguments for both Alba and Yarrellii, so which one?

  1. I'm no expert - it's a tough one. Using the Collins Bird Guide, the flanks look Alba and has some Juv features around ear coverts and bill light like Juv Alba. But a winter Alba doesn't have the black crown and sharp border between nape and mantle. The Macmillan Field Guide seems to suggest adult winter Alba has some dark on crown though. I've never seen one though, so... I'll leave to wiser birders than me. GH
